Arau Train Station is nearest stops with Kuala Perlis ferry terminal, taking Grabcar or Mycar is just 24 minutes away. While taking myBAS is T10 or T14, later transfer myBAS T12 in Kangar.

Currently Arau station serving 2 types of trains:

1. KTM Komuter which is shuttle trains between Padang Besar (Thailand) and Butterworth (Penang), only can buy tickets before boarding.
2. KTM Electric Train Services (ETS) is express trains between Padang Besar, Butterworth, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, Malacca and Gemas.

KTM Eletric Train Services (ETS)

1. For going Penang, my advice consider KTM Komuter which is cheaper and flexible.
2. For going Cameron Highlands, my advice is taking KTM Komuter alight in Butterworth, then walk 150m to Penang Sentral taking Bus Express towards Cameron Highlands.
3. For going Malacca or Singapore (via Johor Bahru), my advice consider taking bus express from Kuala Perlis or Kangar.
4. For going KLIA airports, you can alight in Kuala Lumpur Sentral and transfer to KLIA transit.

Turn right from Arau Train Station and walk around 400m to bus stops, wait T10 or T14 myBAS to Kangar and transfer T12 myBAS to Kuala Perlis (Langkawi)
